This is golden
I do love the philosophical side of him.
I had a 100 grand and i wasnt truly happy, but would of been with 50 million. Thats complete bullshit Warren.
Amazing answer, I definitely agree with Buffet
The short answer it’s not as simple as “delay gratification”; in order to be successful and rich.
This is pure gold. What a brilliant yet simple explanation.
His dad locked him in a closet for hours and made him rehearse this
Be friends with the bankers.
Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger are buying shit loads of Bitcoin right now, that's why the price is pumping
His Dad is looking at him and thinking-if you fuck up your lines I will kill you
"don't go overboard on delayed gratification"
Long pauses… All the time …
What a good question
Buffet just wants everyone to spend more so earnings will go up lol
I've never seen Charlie Munger jump to answer a question with such excitement. Props for this kid!
That boy reading off a card
Smith and Wollensky only for u, right .W.
The net result of gratification is to feel good. Trading a small amount of gratification for a much larger amount, feels even better. But realizing that it is the “delay” that is making things better, is in itself gratifying. Hence, it will feel the best!
Why do parents always have their kids speak for them? So corny and fake.
this kid is 13. what is he expecting? to be the president of USA next year? that is the problem with the younger generation nowadays – everything in life they want it immediately. they want instant gratification but are blind to the fact that any achievement in life is not done overnight, there is always a process. and for goodness sake kid, you are 13, go enjoy your childhood playing with your friends instead of asking these kind of stupid questions.

I spent 5 years in pursuit of an engineering degree, i think I have the concept of "delayed-" pretty well covered.
Gratification, on the other hand, i am guessing is a french word?
Let me get back to you on this.
